# Airdrop

Update April 2, 2024: All token phases complete. $FUTURE launched successfully.

Token Airdrops are set to commence on April 1st, 2024, shortly after 19:30 EST

Once the [Token Swap](/future/our-history/the-takeover-story/token-launch-plan/token-swap.md) & [Community Pre-Sale](/future/our-history/the-takeover-story/token-launch-plan/community-pre-sale.md) phases have ended, the $FUTURE tokens will be airdropped to the stakeholders in the following order:

1. 75M $FUTURE Airdropped to Treasury
   * $SOL raised from $MERTD sale to be paired with $FUTURE and provided as LP. See [Token Launch Plan](/future/our-history/the-takeover-story/token-launch-plan.md).
2. At the same time:
   * Up to 1B $FUTURE Airdropped 1:1 to $preFUTURE holders. See [Token Swap](/future/our-history/the-takeover-story/token-launch-plan/token-swap.md).
   * 75M $FUTURE sold in the Pre-Sale is delivered to participants as per [Community Pre-Sale](/future/our-history/the-takeover-story/token-launch-plan/community-pre-sale.md)
3. $FUTURE is airdropped to any $MERTD holders that did not swap at 0.5:1 ratio 👇

There will be instances where the holders of the $MERTD token are either unaware of this migration or touching grass. While they may suffer from a higher dilution as a direct result of not migrating, they still benefit from a brighter $FUTURE.

After a 30-day grace period, the DAO will vote to burn the remaining $FUTURE that did not get airdropped because $MERTD holders had their tokens in an LP position.
